Our Story

Zwab Charity Organization was founded in Uganda in 2020, amidst the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The founders, a group of local community leaders, saw firsthand the severe impact of the pandemic on the most vulnerable communities, with job losses, food insecurity, and lack of access to healthcare becoming major concerns.

Determined to make a difference, they set out to create a sustainable development program that would empower communities and improve lives. They started by organizing medical camps in remote areas, providing essential healthcare services to families who would otherwise have no access to medical care. They also began working with farmers, providing education and training to help them improve their crop yields and income, with the added challenges posed by the pandemic.

As their programs grew, so did their impact. Over the years, Zwab Charity Organization has expanded its reach, providing a wide range of services, including cataract surgeries, bicycle give-out projects, safe water projects, food packages distribution, Eid al-Adha meat distribution, supporting orphanages and orphans, Disaster and refugee projects, Life and Sports projects, Student scholarship, Provision of scholastic materials, Renovation and building of school structures and tailoring tutorship projects, all while addressing the challenges posed by the pandemic.

Through their tireless efforts, Zwab Charity Organization has helped thousands of families in Uganda improve their lives and gain greater economic stability, in spite of the pandemic. They have seen firsthand the impact that their programs have had, from the smiles on the faces of children who can now attend school to the pride of farmers who are now able to provide for their families despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.

Today, Zwab Charity Organization continues to work towards their mission of empowering communities and improving lives, with the vision of a world where all communities have equal access to opportunities for growth and development. They are committed to creating a brighter future for all, one community at a time, in the face of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
